The California Society for Clinical Social Work is a statewide professional association for clinical social workers who practice in mental health settings or in independent practice. The California Society maintains a liaison with the Clinical Social Work Federation, a national organization, which provides federal legislative advocacy and additional member services. Entry level membership in the Society is open to graduate students of accredited M.S.W. programs. Member services include conferences, seminars, publications, insurance, state and national legislative advocacy and professional guidance and training on ethics and standards of practice.
