The California Alliance for Golf - After several years of work and due diligence, the major components of California’s golf industry have come together to formally incorporate and form a non-profit entity to represent the positive interests of golf in California. Several organizations, such as the California Alliance for Golf, the Northern California Golf Association, the Southern California Golf Association, the Northern California PGA of America, the Southern California PGA of America, the California Club Manager’s Association, the American Golf Corporation, the California Golf Club Association and numerous other high profile organizations throughout California were brought together to form this entity.

The mission of the Alliance will be multi-faceted.

• To improve business conditions for the golf industry within the state of California
• Serve as an education resource for the industry and the general public
• Function as an advocate for the industry before the state’s legislative bodies, governmental entities, as well as special districts
• Develop a communication system for the public to understand the economic benefits the golf industry produces for the state of California
• Provide a proactive educational and cooperative partnership with California regarding environmental stewardship the game of golf provides
