Lindsey E. Read is a California licensed attorney. She brings her legal and legislative expertise to the ARA team, consulting on a wide scope of legislative and statutory issues. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Lindsey worked for the Sacramento law firm of Jones & Dyer, PLC representing clients in a vast array of civil litigation matters. In this capacity, she provided legal representation, strategy and budgets covering all stages of the litigation process including pleading, discovery, negotiated settlements, trial and post-trial.

Lindsey also has extensive experience working on a wide array of issues in the California State Capitol. After earning her undergraduate degree, she was accepted into the prestigious Assembly Fellowship Program where she worked as a fellow for Assembly Majority Leader Dario Frommer. Lindsey was subsequently hired as his legislative assistant, a position which she held for two years prior to entering law school. Lindsey was the point person on the film production and entertainment industry, public safety and autism issues in California. Lindsey is a former competitive three-event waterskier and in her spare time enjoys being on the water and traveling to Maui.
